5 REASONS WHY YOUR CUSTOMER SHOULD BUY GAP COVERAGE FROM YOUR DEALERSHIP
1. No deductible. Under the Customer’s auto policy, they must pay a deductible when they file a claim. PRco’s GAP has no deductible and will reimburse the deductible that the Customer has already paid.
2. No impact on insurance rates. The more claims your Customer has against their auto insurance policies, the more the insurer raises their rates. Claims for GAP do not affect auto insurance premiums.
3. Freedom to switch insurers. If Customers buy GAP from your dealership, they can switch auto insurers without losing GAP coverage.
4. Upside-down trade-ins. Often, you will roll the amount the Customer still owes on a trade-in into the new loan. If the vehicle is totaled or stolen, PRco’s GAP pays the difference between cash value of the vehicle and the balance of the loan – including the negative equity on the trade-in.
5. High coverage limits. PRco’s GAP covers up to $50,000 and will reimburse the Customer’s deductible paid up to $1,000.
